Yes, you must currently be a United States resident to be considered for the Bombardier Academy. Priority is given to those located near the Bombardier service station that the Academy is recruiting for.
If you will be testing for one or both of your certificates soon, you may apply.
Although a degree is great to have, we do not require one to be accepted to the Academy.
No, there are no cost to attend the Academy. However, you must complete a brief application and be accepted to attend the Academy.
Yes, Bombardier needs experienced technicians, as well as new technicians. You are welcome to apply to the Academy.
After you’ve applied and have been accepted to the Bombardier Academy, you will receive your login credentials.
All of the Bombardier Academy classes are virtual. No in-person meetings are required. However, there are often tours, meetings, and onsite opportunities that all are encouraged, but not required, to attend.
No. The AMT and Avionics Academies are only 9 total sessions. Missing any session, being late, or leaving early would prevent you from successfully completing the Academy.
No. All tools, materials, and supplies required to complete the Academy are LOANED to you. You are required to return all items at the end of the Academy.
At this time, we are not providing any Visa sponsorships through this Academy. You must be legally ready to immediately work in the USA to be considered for the Academy.
The purpose of the Academy is to get you a career at Bombardier. By applying to the Academy, you are starting the hiring review process. If you are not interested in immediately working at Bombardier, this Academy is not for you.
